Olamendi's Mexican Restaurant

This place is a little gem on the beach front! The food was authentic and delicious. The service was very cordial and they had excellent recommendations! The chicken mole was incredibly flavorful, it was rich and thick with sweetness and spice! The margaritas with their own tequila were a great compliment. I will definitely return while in Dana Point!

Wonderful Mexican Food! So many things to look at! What is really exciting are the pictures on the wall of President Kennedy, & President Nixon. They used to eat there & the menu's reflect what they ate. Many famous photos of actors as well & members of Congress in years past. They have so much to look at, & the colors are all bright & indicative of Mexico. Very homey and friendly.Great customer service.The food was very good, and had lots of flavor. Go, and try it. Pacific Ocean is directly across the street too.

Amazing food with a friendly vibe. Really good Vegan 🌱 options on back side of the menu. I recommend The Laguna Beach Burrito 🌯 or the Potato 🥔 Tacos if you’re Vegetarian or Vegan. The homemade Chips and Salsa are tasty 😋 Also a legendary place and a favorite of President Nixon’s while he was in office living in San Clemente. The decor is really awesome and artistic. Good times! 🤙😎
